Under the approach “SMEs successful together by using KI”, the AI2Ynet project consortium team is developing the AI-platform.

The first project phase of AI2Ynet was carried out as part of the AI Innovation Competition organized by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi). During this competition phase, lasting from April to August 2019, the AI2Ynet consortium mobilised a wide network of partners who gave 10 workshops throughout Germany.

To collect the AI experience and needs of SMEs in order to include them in the development of the AI2Ynet platform, potential users of the AI platform discussed with innovative AI providers and experts different aspects of the planned networking platform. Specific requirements and conditions could be identified which were included to sharpen the concept for the second project phase.

The elaborated implementation concept was handed over on August 16, 2019 to the BMWi.
