Tanja Kessel

Tanja Kessel is Managing Director of the European Center of Information, Communication and Technology, EICT GmbH with headquarters in Berlin. She previously held positions as Head of Project Management and Communication for 5 years. During her time and under her lead at EICT she implemented various numbers of significant projects in the core fields of EICT such as Energy & Environment, Information & Communication Technologies and Automotive & Mobility. 

Before her appointment by EICT in the time 2006, Tanja Kessel focused on intercultural cooperation and public-private partnerships at the Research and Technology Department of DaimlerChrysler AG in Stuttgart. As a project manager she developed methods for collaborative innovation projects and coordinated EU funded projects in the domain of ITS, ADAS, x-by-wire and Car2X-based technologies.

Tanja Kessel holds a degree in German Studies and Political Sciences from the Free University of Berlin. She conducted research at the Social Sciences Research Centre Berlin working on transfer strategies of the automobile industry to Eastern Europe.
