Invitation: „The German energy turnaround – prototype or problem?“

Germany is currently working hard on the realization of the energy turnaround but parts of its ambitious goals seems to be unattainable although Germany is perceived as a pioneer amongst industrial nations.

VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland, the European Center for Information and Communication Technologies (EICT) and the Embassy of Finland in Berlin invite you to the discussion forum

„The German energy turnaround – prototype or problem?“
on 20 May 2014 at the Nordic Embassies in Berlin

Together with high-level experts from politics, academia and industry, we will discuss the current status of energy turnaround in Germany and address international trends and viewpoints on this topic.

Within this discussion we will consider Finland in particular. Due to its geographical location, its climatic conditions and the lack of fossil energy sources, Finland has already developed various solutions to generate and use energy in an effective and resource-efficient way.

The event is free of charge. Please register until 16 May 2014. More information can be found in the programme flyer. Register here.

We are looking forward to your participation and exciting discussions.
